Continuum Pictures Producers Danny Torres and James Duval have entered into an agreement with Affinity Artist Agency’s Erich C Smith for the packaging of scripted and non-scripted television. Additionally, Continuum will be producing feature films and developing talent with Mr. Smith and Affinity.

The Continuum Pictures thriller Taught In Cold Blood is now in production, helmed by director P. David Miller and starring Mesindo Pompa (Mano a Mano) and newcomers Luke Lippold, Robin Quinn Trudeau, and Loydene Williamson.

A stranger appears in a small California town to escape his dark past, only to be thrust into a violent property war between a local business owner and a well-funded casino.

Continuum producers Richard Scott, Mark Lillig, and Tyler Ross proudly provided production services for the Shining Star Kids of America charity fundraiser at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills.

Shining Star Kids of America is a Sonoma, California ranch providing a second home and critical help to young adults leaving the foster care program. Continuum partnered with Keith Barrows of Stone Crazy Films to produce video of this event, and Mark Lillig flew to the Sonoma ranch to shoot video of Shining Star in action.

Richard Scott also appeared on stage to introduce a teaser for Continuum and Blue Dragon Entertainment’s series The Darkness Descending, which is set against the backstory of New York’s homelessness. Reaching out to charities working with the homeless—including those helping to prevent it—has been an ongoing goal of the series.

Continuum producers Mark Lillig and Richard Scott, with Keith Barrows of Stone Crazy Films, recorded an endorsement with legendary Star Trek actor Nichelle Nichols for the Shining Star Kids of America charity.

Continuum has wrapped principal photography on the apocalyptic horror short Sirens, directed by Jason Durdon. In the hills above destroyed Los Angeles, a few scattered survivors do what they must to survive.

Sirens is currently undergoing digital effects work to realize Jason Durdon’s vision of a metropolis abandoned and destroyed.

Continuum Animation and Visual Effects (CAVE) was formed today with Vincent Wong as its head and the new company was launched with the delivery of the concept presentation for Continuum’s first animated feature. CAVE represents a partnership with Vincent and the seven Continuum Partners and is expected to be a stand-alone company by mid 2010. It’s primary goal is to provide effects and logos for all of Continuum Pictures productions and subsidiaries.

Sabor Tropical has officially begun production with part of our team on its way to Los Tablas, Panama. The film stars Matthew Leitch as a travel blogger sent to cover Carnivale. The film also stars Jose Rosette and writer/director Jorge Ameer. Austin Anderson is the producer and cinematographer on the project.

Two Rooms in The Valley went into production today. This is the story of one man, Don Scribner, and his journey from high school principal in Wisconsin to working actor in LA. This project began as a one may played written and performed by Don. With assistance from many friends, Don will bring this vision to DVD. This is Filmplane’s first Production.

Filmplane Entertainment is formed to handle indie features and short films. Austin Anderson has been chosen to head this company. The company partners are the six Continuum Partners, Austin Anderson and director Quan Tran.

Continuum Pictures is established in Los Angeles with four of the six partners moving operations from the Bay area.

The Continuum Pictures partnership formed between six founding partners: Danny Torres, James Duval, Mark R. Lillig, Richard Scott, Tyler Ross, and Scott Hayman. Company is to be operated from Los Angeles, California. Previously each of the partners a had been members of IIE which was operated in the San Francisco Bay Area and had produced 5 indie films.
