Introducing The New Continuum Web Site

Today we’re launching our brand new web site!

This is the culmination of months of hard work, and marks an entirely new online look for our company.

Here’s some highlights of the new site:

• New, Cleaner Design. Text is easier to read and graphics-heavy pages, like our movie listings, will load faster.
• Universal Video. Audio and video now work across most browsers and mobile phones. We use advanced HTML 5 video (with h.264 compression) where available, reaching Apple and Android mobile devices as well as Safari and Chrome web browsers. Internet Explorer and Firefox continue to be supported through Flowplayer‘s amazing Flash-based video player and the open source JPlayer audio player.
• More Video. We now have music videos and more movie trailers online.
• High Definision Video. Many of our trailers and videos are available in high definition, like our music videos. (Users of mobile phones and the very-outdated Internet Explorer 6 get the best size for their device, which isn’t HD.)
• Scalable Design. Continuum’s content is viewed on old web browsers, new web browsers, and mobile phones. So we dynamically turn on and off graphical features depending on whether your browser can handle it—so the site might look slightly different for you. But no matter what browser you use^*, you’ll be able to access everything.

* Our minimum requirements are Internet Explorer 6 or later, recent versions of Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera, or a modern Web-capable mobile phone. This covers virtually everyone.
